German Spouse Visa Requirements

What are the requirements for a German Spouse Visa?

Before you call the German Embassy at Manila to have an interview schedule/appointment, PLEASE MAKE SURE that you already have all the requirements at hand/in your possession because you really have to submit these requirements personally.

The list of German Visa Requirements I listed here were based on my experience:
- I applied for a Family reunion and marriage visa (German Spouse Visa)
- I am already married to my German spouse in the Philippines.
- I was in the Philippines.
- My spouse is already back in Germany.
- I have at hand all the requirements.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION OF A GERMAN RESIDENCE PERMIT

- 3 application forms duly filled in (can be obtained at the reception area of the Embassy or downloaded from their website)
- 4 pictures (please click here for photo requirements specifications). Three (3) of these pictures must each be glued to the application forms, the fourth must be attached with a paper clip to the passport (please do not staple). The applicant must write his or her complete name and date of birth on the back of the picture.
- Valid passport
- Visa fee 60,- € payable in Philippine Pesos (cash) at the current exchange rate
- Security questionnaire (‘Sicherheitsbelehrung’) answered completely and signed

FOR FAMILY REUNION TO SPOUSE (also for applicants with previous residence permits)
- NSO Birth Certificate of applicant
- NSO Marriage Certificate
- NSO certificate regarding the appearance of your name in the ‘National Indices of Marriages’ (CEMAR=Advisory Marriages); this must not be older than six (6) months from the date of issuance
- Proof of basic knowledge of German language (Certificate of language examination “Start Deutsch 1” of Institute)
- Copy of the federal identity card (front- and back page) OR registration card of the spouse in Germany

For updates, please visit the official site of the German Embassy of the Philippines at www.manila.diplo.de or directly access the Requirements listed above for Spouse Visa or Fiance Visa here.

Please always check the official site of the German Embassy of the Philippines for the list of visa requirements as it will always change from time to time. In my experience, I was very surprised and worried when the embassy suddenly requires for a Proof of basic knowledge of German language.

Fortunately, I have a university degree and I don't need the basic German requirement. Unfortunately as I am already here in Germany, I am still required to have a basic knowledge of German language. Either way you are still required to take a Basic German Language Course. Whether you are one of the exceptions or not, keep in mind that your are going or will be living in Germany. Therefore you need to learn, understand and speak their language.

The German Language Course last for 6 months. Until now I am still going to school everyday and will be finished this December 2008. Hopefully I could pass the examination and get a Basic German Language Certificate.

Hi PinoyInGermany (I tried to look for a name, but I couldn't find one.),

Thanks for dropping by my site. Now I know where to go if I decide to visit Germany. We had a German visiting professor at Silliman University many years back. His name is Dr. Christian Schales. In case you come across him there, just say hi for me. :)

Anyway, that should be all for now.

Have a nice day!

Hey, hi there Ms PInoy in GErmany. wait, I have was reading and I saw what I was hoping for, do you mean if you have graduated from a Degree you don't need the basic knowledge? What does that mean? I have a degree in BS Accountancy. with flying colors at that. will that exempt me?I do hope to hear from you :)

http://www.manila.diplo.de/Vertretung/manila/en/01/Visabestimmungen/ddatei__proof__german__langauge,property=Daten.pdf

Are there exceptions?
Yes. You do not have to prove any knowledge of German, as a rule, if one of the following statements applies:
You have a university degree and probably be able to find work in Germany on the basis of your language skills (recognisably minor integration requirement).

Hi clavel,

Thanks for visiting my site.^_^

Yes, you are right. You are exempted.^_^
The official German Embassy of the Philippines' website's pdf file stated:

"Are there exceptions?
Yes. You do not have to prove any knowledge of German, as a rule, if one of the following statements applies:
You have a university degree and probably be able to find work in Germany on the basis of your language skills (recognisably minor integration requirement)."

I hope this answered your question.^_^

Thanks a lot, I assume, girl? :)

I am a Cebuana too, as from what I read earlier, puros ta bisaya :)

Anyway, Yeah, I could not wait for your reply, and called the German Embassy here in Makati(where I am based at for work now). And she confirmed that Yes, I am exempted. So that gives me a relief since I could file for the Visa without the added pressure of the exam. Though you are right, I gotta learn German, the last time I was there, very few speak English.

I will keep on reading here, and thanks a lot for sharing all of these, these are pretty useful. BUT, my man doesn't believe that I am exempted... grrrr... anyway, I will just have to prove him wrong later I guess ;)

EditorPinoy said...

Your welcome!^_^

Hi fellow cebuana and yes puros ta bisaya.

Sorry for my very late reply. But I am happy that you have confirmed it. And yes you gotta learn German. Maybe your man doesn't know yet the new rules so he doesn't believe you. Anyway, Just tell him the new rules.hehe

Thanks for visiting my site. I will post new blogs in the future since I have so many things to say about Germany.

I hope to see you here in Germany ^_^

Way Sapayanz! ^_^

Hi Cecil,

According to my German Spouse, it is possible that you could get a visa for your children. Pero hindi ako sure sa details kasi wala akong experience sa situation mo that I could draw from.

God bless and Congratulations pala sa wedding nya ^_^

Hello, thank you for this site. it was very helpful. but obviously i still have problem. sa pinas din po kami nagpakasal ng asawa ko, kompleto na kami ng papers but to apply a visa for family reunion we dont really know where to start. sabi kase kelangan ng appoinment. meron ka bang kilalang lawyer na pwedeng mag process ng papers ko? I take the A1 test yun yung sinasabi nilang you must speak at least basic german language. i did it i study in thailand in deutsch institute thailand. i study for 2 months and i toll the test A1 i got 88%. so obviously i got it the passing grade is only 60. but that i have already. i really need more info. how to start to apply. pls. help thanks

EditorPinoy said...

Hi Anonymous,

Unfortunately I don't have a friend or acquaintance who is a lawyer. I suggest that you should not get a lawyer to process your papers. I did it myself, there is no reason that you can't ^_^

Just wanna ask kuya if when you applied your German Spousal Visa, did the embassy asked you for some documents as a proof of your relationship like letters and others?
Vielen dank!

Halu,

I did bring pictures and letters but they did not ask for it =) So just bring it just in case.

hallo,
did u need to pay php11k for ur documents checking? becoz some applicants didnt have that documents checking,i red it here? i was just a little confused with that...

hi, anonymous,
isa din acoh s mga ng-ask b4 s blog n ito... and it's so helpful nman and made me positive non' time n ng-aaply p lng acoh...
i'm already here n s Germany! i just want to give an opinion lng s tanong moh... i think, document checkings are needed s mga "applicants" from province s pinas... (case to case basis)! naitanong n din xe ng asawa q yan b4 s Ausländeramt non' time n ng-aaply p lng acoh... una, kpag gling xe s province ang mga documents moh like, proof of singleness and approval of your parents (for fiancee)... they need to check the attorney n ng-testified ng papers moh kng registered nga s DOJ or s mtaas n hukuman... ska kung late registered k din... they need to ask and investigate (C.I.)!
but, kng kasal nman n kyoh... much better ay bgo k mag-apply s Embassy, make sure n maibigay moh ang requirements s tym n yon... to avoid hussle!
case to case basis:
my mga applicant xe n ang mga partner o asawa nila ang nki2pag-communic8 s mga offices (Standesamt and Ausländeramt) d2 s Germany... cla n ang umaackso s lhat ng byarin or d2 n nila binabayaran ang lhat... alm nman ng Embassy kng gnon ang ginwang paraan... at ilan s mga ng-apply n pinoy o pinay n gnon... wla n din bnabayran s Embassy as in 0% tlga!
enwei, like i said, much better n almin nyoh n muna ang mga dpat nyon' punan n requirements b4 mg-apply... sumtyms xe, ndi nyoh n pla kelngan mg-document checking, pro dhil installment ang mga requirements nyoh... ms mgi2ng trabajo lng s Embassy yon at mg-cause p ng delay!
i hope mkatulong ang opinion q?? LoL!

Anonymous said...

hallo, jc,
i wish ndi p huli ang opinion q 4 u? i think ndi n kelngan ng medical or physical check up pra s spouse visa... i think mga au-pair lng ang required don... xe pgdating moh nman d2... u will have an medical insurance (private o government) kelngan kang i-check up! lalo n s private... xe my tinatwag n family doctor d2 n xang mg-che2ck ng lhat at pda2la s insurance company moh ang nging result... so, kng my allergies k kunwari... the insurance will ask n dag2an ang bayad moh xe, kino-cover nman nla lhat ang bayarin ng hospital bill moh!

Cyrille said...

hallo anonymous,
vielen,vielen dank! :D
Me and my husband were a little confused with that thing. And worried too, thinking that it might cause so much time again checking documents.Im not from the province,im living here in manila. All my requirements are complete now.I even got A1 certificate, even im a degree holder.Just want to make sure that everything will be ok,when i apply for my visa.Heheh.I planned to apply on middle of october, kelangan ko kasi muna mag 21 for applying german spouse visa.Im beginning to feel nervous already.

thank you for sites like this and hello to everyone.
I have been corresponding with my German boyfriend for a while now and he is going to visit me here for the first time in January 2010.
He will only be staying for 3 weeks and we feel that that is not enough time to prepare for our wedding...(I don't really know...suggestions? comments?...anyone please)
I will be apply for a fiancee visa soon and we will get married there in Germany.
I don't know where to start and what to do...HELP PLEASE.
Thank you and God bless everyone.

hallo anonymous,

i think ur bf needs to do things here first... lyk, registration s Standesamt, if u're planning to get married here... the Standesamt will ask for ur papers (NSO Birth Cetificate and translated in German Language)... and give u a date kng kelan kyoh puede ikasal? much better maaga n kyoh mgpa-rehistro s Standesamt d2 pra ms mdali n din s application ng Fiancee Visa moh!

idk how long it takes to get married in the Philippines... But, maybe u should read the Blogger site (http://pinoyingermany.blogspot.com/2008/10/marriage-requirements-in-philippines.html).. pro kng kaya nman ninyo mgpakasal jan s certain time n yon? then do it! much faster xe ang "SPOUSE VISA" to come here!

ang pinaka-mganda ay mag-aral k n muna s Goethe Institut-Makati ng Basic German Language and pass the exam... isa xe xa s pinakamhirap i-produce n requirements, dhil it takes 2 1/2 months din s pag-aaral!

enwei, all the things start here in Germany xe, so, tell ur husband n kng wat plan b ang ga2win nyoh... ok! i wish nkatulong acoh syoh!

to EditorPinoy,

pasintabi lng poh... i just want to give lng my opinion... sobrang na2lungan xe acoh ng blog n i2, and i want to share lng din nman ang opinion q s iba ntin kba2yan!

gudluck to everybody!

Hope to see you there hehe.. then my fiance will go back here on Feb.. for the wedding kahit simple wedding nalang muna kayo wag mo na pag kaabalahan masydo, para makakuha ka agad ng marriage certificate kung dun pa kayo papasakal
dami pang process aasikasuhin both sides.. :) and pag balik nyo dun you can get have the ceremony na ulit.. yung may preparation na talaga :) mahirap pag fiancee visa...

Thanks EditorPinoy! now i know where to start.. :) this blog will help me a lot! di na ako maguguluhan.. :)

Thanks EditorPinoy and leetallod.
Wala na ba talagang exemptions? Do I really have to enroll at the Goethe Institut? My boyfriend insists that I could be exempted. I cannot enroll now because I'm far from Manila (Negros Occidental) and I'm working (a teacher).
All I'm trying to do now is see if I can start processing our marriage license so when he comes most of the papers will be ready...I hope.
This site is really helpful...with the tips and the feeling na hindi ako nag-iisa...

leetallod, it would be great to see you "there" if I can... thanks
To EditorPinoy more power

my best regards to everyone.

hallo anonymous,

i think, there's no excemption exist now, base on Basic German Language. ja, sumtyms the Embassy will accept ur 4 year course diploma (degree holder)... but then, the Embassy might call u at sa2bihin n kelangan moh p nga ng Basic German Language Diplom... so, nka-hang lng ang papers moh s Embassy at wait p din nla ang Diplom... at mag-cause p ng delay ng process ng papers moh yon! I had a klasmeyt din xe n degree holder, pro aun ng-aral p din cla... much safe tlga n mag-aral n muna at ma-ipasa ang exam! wla nman mwa2la, mas mda2gdagan k p! hehe!

case 2 case basis; i think, kng ndi moh nman afford n mg-aral s Makati, xe ur from "NEGROS OCCIDENTAL"... of course, byad s tuition and upa ng bahay to study for 8 weeks... but, u're already married n s husband moh... and ur husband has no capability also n mpag-aral k din... lyk; he is still studyin' here in Germany or student p xa... i think, he have to go to the Ausländeramt and ask if they might excempt u... and the Ausländermant will give a letter of excemption... and u can pass that on the Embassy as a subtitute ng A.1 Diplom!

i also heard din pla, n kyah required n ang mga pinoy n mag-aral s G.I., xe ndi n xa budgeted ng German Govt... at independent n xa! so, the Govt. gave them a right n i-require n mag-aral tyoh pra s knilang cost or expenses din!

federwiesser said...

to all applicants,

here is a reminder;
i guess, kng confuse kyoh s lhat ng bgay like, requirements for Fianceé Visa, Spouse Visa, etc... much better, ay i-download nyoh ang Visa Application in German Language... and ask ur Partner, Relatives for help... dhil, ndi lhat ng nkasulat s list ng English application ay tugma s hinihinge nilang requirements... xe, my mga German sentences or words n wlang translation s English o ndi maaus ang pag-translate!

so, gudluck to everybody!

Hi federweisser,
maraming salamat. I'm really glad na I found this site. Now, I know of so many options to take. The tuition alone is expensive but if it is a requirement, I know that I have no other options and I don't want to give up my job yet because I need my own source of fund too. My boyfriend has a job but he is still studying...
thank you really for all the information.
Maybe we'll meet one day there in Germany :)
My best regards to you and God bless...

Good day to everyone:)

I just would like to ask Kuya Pinoy and everyone else on this forum who shares the same experience with me or knows somebody with same experience. I have this German fiance and we are planning to get married soon as he gets here. But we haven't met in person yet. We just know each other online for few months. Now, I have learned that we might get a problem in getting a spousal visa later if the embassy know how, when, and where we met. That we haven't met in person yet before, it's our first time to meet here and get married right away...How true is this? Now, I am really worried. Please help me. Thank you so much.

I have seen that there are quite a lot of filipinas getting married to a foreigner just a few months after meeting them online...Of course there's nothing wrong with it. But I care, and just want to give an advice to know their husbands-to-be better, at least get to know them for a year or so before deciding to marry. Marriage is not just an ordinary decision, your life hangs in there. Before me and my German fiance decided to marry, more than 3 years has passed. Please don't take this wrong. I just care :) Goodluck to everyone!

Ms. M Ayala

federweisser said...

Hallo, Ms. Ayala,

yes, you can apply for a Visa, it doesn't matter how long you have been married. As long as the marriage has been registered with Philippine Authorities.

The processing, however, may take you a long time. The German Consulate may require you to attend a German Language course at the Goethe Institut. They may also require many supporting documents that take time to complete.

Once your husband arrives in Germany, he should immediately discuss the situation with the Foreign Office (Ausländeramt). At the same time you should be completing your application requirements through the German Embassy in the Philippines.

Redbatman said...

To someone who mentioned that it is only the certificate of Goethe who is accepted in the DE emabassy...I am sorry to say this but that is wrong. There are some Deutsch School in the philippines that are accredited in DE embassy. You can check in the website. There are 3 to 4 more school.

Most of my questions are answered through reading all comments....I'm also engaged to a German (3yrs), planning to get married in few months, got my Goethe diploma here in Singapore and still studying. This is compulsary when applying visa if you are married to a German.I have many friends whose been denied for visas because they're not holding this document.

CHEERS!!!! and good luck to everybody with their documents and visa application.

hi i would like to share my experience after i applied for a family reunion visa. i was interviewed last Mar.8 this year the embassy doesnt require that your papers have a red ribbon from the DFA. this site helps a lot. it helped me prepared all the needed documents and the interview. i was however required to provide proof for the german language so you really need to enroll yourself for a diploma eventhough i thought i was exempted for having a 4yr degree as what in their website says but i was wrong i even clarify it to the one who interviewed me. anywayz, just a piece of advice, enroll first & have a diploma for the german course to avoid hassle before applying for a family reunion visa.thank you so much for this site. more power and God bless...

yup! Dpat tlga ready n lhat ng documents before k p mg-apply, puede xe mg-cause yon ng document checking, which is kelngan moh mgbayad ng 12,k ytah. hallo! I think, my dalawang options k. Puede yan' plan moh n ipa-translate s Pinas ang documents moh, pro make sure n yun' Translator ay certified, then u must need n ipa-Red Ribbon n nga i2 after ng translation.

But, you can send that to ur Partner w/o Red Ribbon at d2 n lng nyah ipa-translate ang document moh. I think, mas valid p xe d2 n nganap ang translation.

You only need a Red Ribbon of ur documents kng s Embassy moh ipa2sa ang documents moh. I want to advise lng n b4 k mg-apply s Embassy, make sure n meron n kyong registration s Standesamt or City Hall d2 at aus n lhat ng documents moh b4 moh p ipasa.

sa interview po sa embassy, hindi naman po ako na interview tungkol sa language or kinausap ako using german language... i just presented them ung A1 certificate ko and thats it... karaniwan po kasi pag spouse, personal na tanong lang tungkol sa inyo ng partner nyo... got my visa approved within 3 weeks (including my kid from first marriage, no adoption done)...

ang ginawa po namin ng hubz ko, lahat ng documents ko pina red-ribbon, scanned all of them and pinadala ko sa hubby ko then he printed them at ipinag-compile sa isang folder saka po sya nakipag set ng meeting sa Auslanderbehörde, so before pa po ma send ng embassy dito sa pinas ang application ko meron na po silang copy dun... and make sure po na kapag nagset kau ng appointment sa embassy, complete na lahat ng papers na dapat ipasa para wala ng abala at mejo sabayan po ng pag follow ng inyong mga partner...

good luck po sa ibang waiting pa...
god bless po.

Lhaine,

I think, I can't say n privilege n mta2wag kpag wlang nbayaran s Embassy... Which is true, no visa fee nga... Xe ang iba q din nki2la d2, wla din bnyaran... But, depende p rin xa s situation... I have a friend with a student husband and she applied last year... No fees, and so fast! But, in sense, her husband paid here... So, it wasn't free at all! I guess, depende s income ng mga npa2ngasawa ntin... But, I just want to say lng that there's no such free and "privilege"... LoL! All the things goes well bco's cnunod moh ng maaus ang requirements... Actually, I applied Fianceé Visa and I just only waited for 4 weeks... Cguro God's will lng tlga! Hehe!

hello federweisser , gusto ko pong magtanong sau tungkol sa papers ko if need ba ipa-redribbon ang mga ducuments ko kc problimatic po ang aking birth cert,, ako po ay late registered at mag-aaply po ako fiancee visa.. i feel sad sa mga ducuments ko dahil baka e-deny lang ako sa embassy... kc nabasa ko sa blog mo nag-fiancee visa ka rin before... kc sbi nila ang embassy daw and magsasabi if ipa-redribbon or hindi. sana po magreply po kau asap...dis week ko balak mag-apply,,thank you... from Laguna

Hallo! Okey! Ndi xe "Late Registered" ang Birth Certificate q... But, I have a lot of friends n dumaan jan... Every documents xe tlga dpat ipa-Red Ribbon moh n... Pra ms sure k n din kng hilingin man o ndi... But, I guess, required tlga! Fianceé Visa kamo! So u need a "Proof of Singleness", also, which means n dpat pumunta k s Notary or Attorney, then ipunta moh ng Justice Court ska ipa-DFA Red Ribbon moh... Much better cguro n kung s Quezon City Hall k n mgpa-Notary and everything... I heard xe sken friend, na she's originally came from Province, somewhere in North Luzon... She got her "Proof of Singleness" and "Proof of Residency" s Quezon City Hall nga... Then, nging mdali din ang pg-aaus nyah...

About your "Late Registered" B-Certificate... Don't worry... The Embassy will ask you for Document Check, n kelngan moh mgbyad ng almost P.12k at my drating din n C.I. s inyo... But, s case moh... Kelngan moh tlga mg-wait... Mdami cla dpat aucn s papers moh...

Pro ms mka2buti kng bgo k mg-apply, everthing here n s Germany nka-aus n... What I mean, sna mkipag-communicate n din yun' Fianceé moh d2 (City Hall at Ausländeramt)... So that, they are already informed n, b4 your application...

Did u already gave ur NSO Birth Certificate s Fianceé moh, pra ipa-transl8 muna at ipasa sna d2 s City Hall? He need to register xe muna d2... Pra in a way, n ma2lungan din kyoh ng City Hall d2, n i-pursue n ang mgi2ng takbo ng papers moh... Mtagal xe kng aasahan moh lng ang Embassy, puede p tlga mg-cause ng sobrang delay...

Good day sa lahat..",)
I read all the blog here and even talked to honorary consul about visa this morning..
It was just that, don't know and can't decide what's best will fits for me. Can I ask for help?
My bf want me to apply for Visa so I can be with him in Germany the sooner possible way, Applying for Marriage would be the best choice however we've known each other for quite almost 3 months; able to visits me here twice. So both decided not to get marriage upon this stage.
Please let me know, what kind of visa will be good? accordingly, tourist would be not easy. Please advise if ever the next time, its easy for me to apply for permanent visa na.
So confused.. =(

I think, kung meron ka pang "DOUBT" na magpakasal agad because you known this person for quite 3 months pa lang... Actually, tama din ang desisyon mong yan... Mahirap naman kasi talaga madaliin ang lahat and it's not very easy din kasi na makapunta dito, as what you said na nga din sa Tourist Visa... I recommend na i-try mo ang Fianceé Visa and do all the requirements... It takes time din naman, and in that case pwede mo pang makilala ng husto ang BF mo... LoL!

In my experience, I had a lot of friends na nahihirapan sa situation non' dumating na sila dito... Me, myself and I, nararamdaman ko din yan... We have a lot of differences kasi sa Foreigner Partners at sa bagay na iyan, nagkakaroon ng misunderstanding... LoL!

I guess, much better to know this person deeply... Not only Finacial but sa lahat-lahat ng aspeto, na masisiguro mong magiging masaya ka s a piling niya... LoL!

Actually, my friend and her Hubby was planned that, also... She had a Fianceé Visa galing sa German Embassy sa Pinas, but her Hubby nga want na magpakasal sila sa Denmark... Don't know why?

Birth Certificate usw... Baka mas makadali sayo kung hilingin man nila na-ipa-translate mo pa sa German Language lahat... But, atleast dala moh!

Anonymous (Sept. 5),

Hallo! I think, normal naman sa ating bansa ang Annulment, kasi we don't have a Divorce like them. Totoo nakakasad nga yun' sinabi nila. But, in this matter, check moh ang meaning ng Annulment. It says, is a legal procedure for declaring a marriage null and void.

Integrated b? Hehe!

Ask your Fiancé sa Standesamt first, kung allow or ma-credit ang mga documents mo. Doon kasi kinakasal muna. Sa Ausländerbehörde nakuha naman ang Residency. But, try niya mag-ask ng mag-ask, dahil kung ang iba nga nakakapunta, with that situation, ikaw pa kaya? LoL!

Anonymous said...

maraming salamat sa iyong advise sa totoo lang till now sad pa rin ako but im trying to happy hindi pa rin ako nawalang nag pag asa .. ask ko lang ano ba ang standesamt ? ano rin ang auslanderbehorde ? para ma explain ko sa fiance ko baka makatulong sa kanya to follow up again ! thnak you so much for you advised !

federweisser said...

Anonymous (Sept. 7),

LoL!

Anonymous said...

hello, ask ko lang po if how to report my marriage from denmark, im already back in the philippines and will apply now for spouse visa. Bago kasi ako nag-apply before... 6 weeks after I applied, I got my Fianceé Visa... I wrote na din kasi dito yun' ginawa kong application before...

Okay! I hope, i-clear mo din yun' Situation?

:-) The question is, this person from Bangkok, Thailand na isa din Pinay, askin' for help! So, gusto nila uli magkita ng BF niya... So, what's the point?

federweisser said...

Anonymous (Bangkok, Thailand),

Halli Hallo!
In my personal view, I think, much better to ask for help sa BF mo, kung maari ka din diyan sa Thailand mag-apply for Tourist Visa... He can ask naman sa place niya, what to do, eh... I think, he or she is the one, na responsible sayo diyan... And besides, every Year, nagbabago ang Policies maging sa Fiancee Visa or any Visa...

Regarding sa Fiancee Visa, Nasabi mo na diyan ka nagwo-work, so, Working Permit ang pinanghahawakan mo... At may mga bagay na limited lang gawin (I hope you know, what I mean)... I recommend you, na bumalik ka talaga sa Pinas and mag-apply for Fiancee Visa...

As Germans says, "Langsam aber sicher!"

Hehe... LoL!

I wish you all the best na lang... Always pray and ask for guidance kay Lord... Kasi, kapag hiniling naman natin through prayers, madidinig Niya ito... God Bless!

Hello po! I have a boyfriend of 3 years dito sa Pinas. Pumunta na siya sa Germany 3months ago kasi dad niya german, that makes him a german citizen, right? just want to ask for opinions lang po..kung pwede na ba ako mag-apply for fiance visa kahit 3 months pa lang siya doon? wala pa siyang work at nag-aaral pa lang ng german language dun. at ano mas madali fiance visa o uwi siya dito this year at dito kami magpakasal sa pilipinas then apply for spouse visa? plano kasi namin this year sana magkasama na kami doon sa Germany. Hoping for your reply..:)

pinkz, how old are you na ba? and where are you from? Like my husband, ipinakita nya yung proof of income nya at proof of lease.

Anonymous said...

hindi pa naman ngayon agad.hehe may minimum income ba dapat yung bf ko? like how much ba dapat ung i-earn ya per month? nagtatanong tanong pa lang para pag dumating yung time na yun atleast may idea na kami kung papano..hehehe thank you po sa reply..:)

Anonymous said...

I dont know if how much yung minimum. siguro malaki. kasi parang dyan nila ma babase if kaya kanyang panindigan.

federweisser said...

Pinkz (January 5, 2011),

So, best way to do is ask the offices dito...

pinkz said...

Thank you so much sa replies niyo..:) as of now ang plano namin save muna kami para sa kasal namin dito sa Pinas..tapos uwi siya dito next year siguro para magpakasal.then babalik xa dyan siguro may trabaho na siya kahit papano next year..at the same studying din..at dito lang muna ako..kung kelan na nakasave na kami both un na ang time na magprocess ako ng spouse visa..ok lang ba yung plano namin?

at tanong ko pa pala kung may expiry ba ang a1 certificate? like 1 year lang ba valid yun? hehe

thanks po sa lahat ng advices..:)

pinkz said...

What if tourist visa lang muna? mga ilang buwan ba ako pwede magstay dun? kailangan din ba ng a1 certificate para mag-apply ng tourist visa? at mas mahirap ba yun keysa fiance o spouse?

federweisser said...

Pinkz,

A1 Certificate?

Plan (niyo)? But, who knows?

Well, pareho natin pag-isipan... Kapag dito mo gusto magpakasal?

But the things is, married na kayo!

Kasi, you have a right to stay na...

federweisser said...

Lyn (Jan.15),

I think much better, magtanong ka sa mga Agencies sa Pinas... What kind of job ba ang gusto mong applyan papuntang Germany? I heard kasi, na may age-limit ang Au-Pair dito, which is 22 or 23 years old lang yata...

hallo, guten tag. been reading a lot of the blog today its my first time to go inside this site.had already bookmark it. got the same problem with others. german are to strict. i just apply a fiance visa last january 18. got all documents ready for them except the german language course but i told them will start the A1 on the 27th of the same month. am now currently studying at goethe-institut. last week the foreign affair in germany nearby his place called him. he went there and they ask him for a 5000 euro security money to be deposit but u will get back the money. so all has been paid. then he ask them to write the cityhall in his place so we can apply for a marrige at city hall. yesterday they called my fiance to go tocity hall. he went there today and they told him he had to pay 200euro for checking of documents again back in philippines. i really dont understand why the embassy in manila cant prove the authentication of papers and me.coz been going abroad often times and i dont have any bad records wasnt it enough proof that your documents are real and its u. my cousin try to write them a letter she is director of one of goverment institution and she cant send her email using her goverment website or headletter so her secretary do it. my question is does it really takes 4months starting today to check a documents. i am impatient now. its causing me all the stress. i actually apply last year first for tourist but they say i wont comeback dont have kids, blahblah. we plan to marry this summer. what is the best way to make the documents checking easy. advise advise.i am planning to go to embassy next week to talk about it. thank u so much and hope to hear from u soon.

Anonymous said...

hello anonymous i dont know exactly what causing you stress? yung documents mo nasa germany na, at inaayos na, so? ano pang ikina woworry mo? hehe. advice ko lang sayo ay, have patience. Lahat naman ng documents mo e legal for sure. so nothing to worry.

Anonymous said...

dont make stress just wait bad or good ka kung dapat i checking documents ka mag antay ka 4 to 6 months ang processing nila dito sa manila then kanila rin kung ok ba ang mga documetns mo after that ipadala namn na dito sa pinas to make it sure kasi dalhin pa nila yun sa court nila nothing to worry comeple kna nman

I was like you before, my fiance (now husband) wanted to get me before for tourist going to DE but i got denied last yr. for the same reason like you, no enough proofs that your coming back in PH nga daw. so what we did was we just planned our marriage, i have prepared all requirements he need to get his legal capacity to marry after 2months he got it already, and this checking na sinasabi mo, as long as na ok lahat papers mo, including registration of birth cert mo is ok, wala kayo magiging problema, mablis lang, but for example late registerd ang birth cert mo or illigetimate or whatsoever cases na makikita nila as discrepancy, automatic magchecheck sila ng documents mo and this is the one that will take 4-6 months. but as long as ok lahat papers mo, mablis lang yan ^^ my husband and i just got married last jan 3, i have set an appointment on the embassy via call center last feb 12 then i got an appointment of feb 15, 3weeks ago my husband got a mail that my papers will be arriving there already in DE so probably anytime this week nsa foreign office na yun application ko, and hopefully dadating na visa in around few weeks ^^

trisha said...

hi, nkita ko tong add mo and sana makatulong ka for my question. my german bf is already here last month. we plan to get married here but his papers is lacking he didnt get his legal capacity certificate. we call in standesamt in their country but they will not give if i have no papers to give them too a proof that i am single and a place where i am living and my identification copy which is my passport. and they tell it would take 6 weeks. is it really needed my papers to give to them so that they can issue a legal capcity to my bf. and is it really needed to take up german course even if we are married. pls help me. thanx

Anonymous said...

Hallo Trisha
ouh kailangan talaga na yung documents mo para makakuha cia ng Legal Capacity of marriage..sa ngayun ng antay ako sa Legal Capacity niya,Hopefully this May madala na niya.pinadala ko na ang documents qow..as of now ng aral dn ako sa goethe kahit married na kau kainlangan tlga mg aral kasi requirements sa visa..

Priceless said...

Hi I am filipina, married to a german national. I just want to share and ask for advice. I met my husband last 2009 and planned to get married in Denmark last year. I applied in german embassy just for a TOURIST VISA with the help of his Father´s friend (she is woman so the embassy would not suspect of anything). In my interview i never told them that i will be marrying a german and my purpose is only for visiting. After 2 weeks i got my visa(conditional). I am not allowed to get married and work in Germany. I already send all the requirements we needed for wedding to my husband. After few days in Germany, his mom and I went to allein department and extend my Visa for 90 days. After weeding in Denmark, we registered our wedding at the Standesamt. after a month we went to Ausländerbehörde for applying for my residence permit. All went well. I got a permit and required to do an Integration Course for 2 years. Now my problem is i wanna visit my family in the philippines this June. I am having doubts because i am banned in the german embassy in the Philippines. Is it possible to fly to philippines and travel back here to germany with my residence permit? will the immigration hold me when i fly back to germany? Anyone here who got the same experience? Thanks

Hi! Im offering visa application assistance specially for fiance and spouse. I am NOT a travel agent nor owner of a travel agency. I am just also a filipina like many here that is married with a German guy. I have done my own visa application and took me only 1 and half month to get my family reunion visa(spouse visa) after our wedding. I have heard from one of my classmate in goethe that he paid 40,000.00 (fourty thousand pesos) just for visa assistance and i think that is too much. I may not be able to do every duty as a travel agent would do for you but i can assure you to give the best of my knowledge with visa application specially i have done this my self. If you have any questions with regards to the fee and any other infos or would want to avail for my service, pls email me at patlaine_19@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Hello Thanks for sharing this blog, it realy ease me at first glance reading this "You have a university degree and probably be able to find work in Germany on the basis of your language skills (recognisably minor integration requirement)" Im working as Engineer in one of Top Vehicle OEM here in Russelheim for a year now. My wife and child applies for a family reunion visa and we were shock that the embassy adviced her to take German proficiency exam for A1 (as this was not included in the requirement sent to us by our lawyer). My wife is a university degree holder and currently stop working to take care of our baby while I am in abroad. Without any knowledge about this exemption we seek advice to our lawyers (company) here and they advice the same way too. I am confident to talk to the embassy tommorow to follow-up the status of my family's visa application. But still praying to GOD that we will avoid another months of document checking and expedite their visa processing.

Guten morgen!

Just call me K. I have a German bf now for almost 3 months and we will meet for the first time this coming September 2015 for our official engagement because we've been in relationship through certain dating site. He has already the plan to marry me this coming September 2016. First, I would like to ask what are the requirements needed for the both of us so that we can be married here in Davao del Norte. Btw, I will be 23 on the day we will be married and he will be 28.

Second inquiry of mine is that after our marriage my partner really want me to live in Germany, how long does it take usually for my visa. It is spouse visa , right? And the requirements needed since I'm from province (Davao del Norte),is there any difference if coming from a city? then I'm a degree holder also I was confused by what I have read about that if you are a degree holder no need to enroll myself in a class just to get a diploma to prove I can speak in German coz actually my partner start teaching this language.

One thing also my partner said that he is starting to process his papers and and also he has already work as an Engineer and at the same time taking up his masters there now, probably already graduated before we get married. Is he still considered a working student? And there will be an additional requirements if ever?

I hope to get answers so that I can help him even in this way. Thank you.
